Amy and I are home safely. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and Shaun and Katy Tucker’s wedding was amazing! We were blessed to be a part of it.
It will be great to have my dear friend Robert Hatch with us on Sunday. Hatch will be preaching in the morning service at 10:00 AM and then will be our speaker on the Men’s Ministry Road Trip this coming Sunday through Tuesday. Please pray for the service and for the Men’s Trip.
On Sunday September 19th I will begin a new series of messages called Losing Your Religion. We will talk about some of the obstacles that hinder people from coming to Christ and following Christ. It will be a time for all of us to grow and it will be a good time for your friend who doesn’t know Christ or is far from God to consider connecting or reconnecting with God. Invite somebody to come with you.
And…this is very important. To make the most of the new series you need to attend a small group where you can discuss each week’s lesson. There is no better time to join a small group and get involved at Venice Church in a deeper and more meaningful way.
